Video of Exotic Cars from the Chicago Auto Show
Admins sorry about opening a new thread about this. I have been desperately trying to find a way to make these MPEG2 files smaller during the weekend. Now that the space and registration issues are solved, thanks to Siggy...it's the last piece of the puzzle. Anyway...
After a lot of testing and frustration, I have managed to convert these files from MPEG2 to DiVX 5.03. The quality is about 85% of the DVD MPEG2 quality that Studio 8 renders them in for me. But the size is 1/5th!!!
This new video I edited is a compilation of the exotics at the Chicago Auto Show. At its original MPEG2 format it was 182 MB (almost 4 minutes long). With the DiVX 5 codec it went down to 37 MB.
BUT!
I am not convinced that this newest codec is compatible with Media Player. ANd that's where I need everyone's help. Please try it with the version of Media PLayer you are running and let me know if the video (not the music) slowly "starts and stops" like it does in one of my machines here.
If you are having problems with Media Player, please try the DiVX player that comes with the DiVX codec (which you might need anyway). Let me know if that worked. Link here:

OK. To all:
Can you do me one final favor and see if this video plays with your Media Player smoothly? This codec is from Microsoft and it cuts MPEG2 files down to half the size and the quality is 95% there to my eyes.

Wait a minute. You are watching the wrong video. You said Enya and I figured that. I later posted another link. Try this video in this link here. Let me know if there is any hesitation

Yes slight hesitation every 2 seconds, but its bearable.
SS concept is hot! I like the ass, reminds me of the Modena.
The front is a bit too soft and too much influence from the recent Camaro. Side flares make it resemble a Viper.
BTW, did anyone notice the chrome F1 paddle shifter?
But 4 doors? Make it a coupe.
Oh yea, I love your choice of music this time Gavrill, Duran Duran!

I am glad someone mentioned the music I base my videos on the music actually. When I watch them, I primarily listen to the music and then watch the video.
