I'm sorry, but my freaking S2K undercarriage didn't look this bad. WTF is Infiniti thinking? No wonder Infiniti of Costa Mesa went out of business and the G37 isn't selling at all.

BTW I'll take over sprayed undercarriage coating over a mushy, fucked up, recalled yet still without a good fix, sub quality transmission any given day.

Ur right it doesn't affect the car, but common, a 35k+ car with that kind of shady work? I expect that kinda work from an uncertified mechanic who working on a wreck and just applying bondo to repair frame damage..

Also, do you know the background of the car.......i've seen aftermarket exhaust systems do tha tto undercarriages.....ever seen what a few winters and salt on the ground will do?


On top of that, it's the freaking undercarriage, that coating does nothing in terms of effecting reliability, etc.

It looks like the undercoating was just liberally applied...

As long as it's not covering a bolt that would be needed in the future, more power to it!

No rust. Just sealer. I never saw anything like that one my car. As long as there isn't rust and holes in my under carriage, I could care less what the under carriage of my car looks like.
