I've seen it come across my FB feed a few times over the last year. Not sure I'd buy it but for the price, it's not bad. It has pretty nice lines, but something about building a kit exotic with a G35 underneath is just weird. I mean I'm sure with more money the G35 can be made plenty fast... but a car that looks like that with a V6? I dunno, strikes me as odd.
that doesn't look bad. But you would have to have a decently fast g35 or else it's pointless.
Doesn't say how much weight this adds/reduces and how much it costs to purchase.
I saw it in person at SEMA. It was definitely a head turner but I didn't get any of the specifics on it. I personally would never even consider it. In fact the only exotic kit type car I'd ever consider would be a Noble or whatever they're branded as now.

I believe the kit starts around $11k-$12k. Of course you need to add any options, plus the donor car, plus whatever mods you want to add so it's faster than a stock G35...

Mmm... I'd love a Noble. When I was looking for the Vagon there was one local here... but the misses squashed it b/c it was more money and even less practical than the Porsche was. Probably a good call
I agree that the 12k for it is ridiculous, I hate the windshield rake too, rear view is much better. I would only consider the factory 5 or noble kit cars, you get a real tube chassis and lighter weight than a standard car
It definitely sounds and looks the part... but look at the acceleration parts of the video (outside at the beginning and inside after the gas station). Sounds like he's flying but he's hardly moving. Other than price, that would be my biggest concern... performance per dollar...
The weird thing is, if you watch that video, the guy who designed the car owns a Corvette performance company. You'd think dealing with Vettes he'd pick a more powerful drivetrain than a G35.
The build DOES NOT require stretching the chassis (stock wheelbase), cutting of wiring or modification of major mechanical parts. You can leave the car running with the air on while you’re building it if you so desire. You retain all the comforts of the stock chassis
This is the part I don't like .. even if you did cram it with more power you're still left with an "exotic" with a G35 chassis
Don't get me wrong, it looks pretty good and certainly is a head turner. But, for this kind of money I would walk very, very far away.
If I'm buying an exotic, it must be purpose built & engineered as an exotic ... not a G35.
While I would never, ever buy this thing... if you can find a real exotic for $12k... let me know for sure!
I don't think anyone buying this is thinking they are buying an exotic. And if they do... well, then it will be funny to watch them get smoked by a G37

It looks like a Lambo that got raped by an Evo, hence pawned that atrocious looking thing.
But it beats an Aztek, or any car from Mitsuoka (yes, I'm rambling a bit).
I think this kit looks really good. However, here are the problems I see.
1. Although the body kit looks great (IMO), I doubt that it is very aerodynamic, as the ducts and scoops suggest.
2. The body kit adds a significant amount of weight to the car, thus decrease all performance numbers.
3. Every boy racer will try you, and you'll have nothing for them. If you drive a car that looks like an exotic it had better be respectably fast.
Now, if you don't care about any of this, and want a car that looks exotic, or perhaps you want it to make a statement at C&C, then I can see this in your garage. As a car guy I don't think I could bring myself to buying such a car. However, hats off for the guy for building it. Again, I think it looks incredible.
The kit makes the car significantly lighter so the Vaydor is quicker than a stock G35. I was following the build thread on some forum somewhere.
The "kit" is not a DIY. They remove all the panels of the donor G35 and cut all the pillars off. It basically is reduced to just a G35 chassis/drivetrain. Then they weld the kit's cage on and start putting on the fiberglass body panels.
Kit doesnt look bad. I would rather just drive a g35 myself.
As for the wheels. Who the fuck passed the okay on that design and please can we leave the color matched lips to the euro guys? And even then, nothing more expensive than a VW Jetta.
I like it, definitely a good looking street cruiser with a powerplant that can yield respectable street fun. Its kind of what i had hoped one of the NSX variants would be... good looking but built for DD/weekend fun driving... It doens't have to have lambo power just because it looks really good.
