RUF is technically its own manufacturer in Germany and all they do is Porsche. The same as Alpina is a manufacturer in Germany and only does BMWs. Here in the US though Alpina is offered as a "trim" level if you will directly through BMW. RUF vehicles in the US are sold by RUF Auto US, as is their parts.
