Enjoy the 50 mpg and the fact it won't be you driving it daily.
Save the money you would have spent on gas in a fund for a fun car.
I can't wait for the new Accord hybrid so I can replace my DD 02 TLS.
That is why you get a fun car S2000 in my case to enjoy when you aren't loaded with kids or other DD requirements.

So anyways it's a 2013 Prius Liftback Four. Blizzard Pearl. 0% APR from Yota, great trade on the Highlander + $1k trade in bonus, 90 days no payments and she's getting 47-48 MPG so far and driving about 80 miles per day.
On our block there are literally 8 other Prii. 2 Volts and a Leaf. This is just our block not counting the whole street (which I am sure there are more), the neighbor by me has two, a white one and a green one. They also have a front garden instead of a lawn and one of those Can-Am Spyders as their "cruiser."
She was literally filling up twice a week which was rough not to mention the Highlander was pushing 5 years old, closing in on 100k.
So a new car with all the bells and whistles isn't the end of the world.
I still have my Infinity.

Is this by using the stupid little adjusting bar that changes as you drive...cause I make those claims, too.
But the reality is, doing the math per fill up...best I ever got was 38mpg PER TANK....avg was more 34-35mpg range.
We generally got 360-390 miles per tank.

The RL average computer (not the stupid instantaneous bars, but the running average) was usually 1 mpg higher than the math at fill-up. It was always consistently higher than reality, but not by much. If you are quoting mileage from the instantaneous meter,
.
.
47.1 MPG when calculated. 10 gallons to fill it.So not a bad gig at all.

that is all..

California.
