i get the "wtf kinda car is that", "DAMN.. that shit is low ", "Siiiiick ass ride" and of course "how do u get over speedbumps?" responses. i love pulling up to other 1st gen CLs and cruising by them slowly just so they can get a good look at my car

 

I always got tons of stares in my yellow '72 Skylark. I'll never forget one day I was sitting at a red light and a girl in a blue Escort takes a left in front of me, staring my way the whole time she's passing by (she was really cute so I was looking back at her). After she passes by I hear tires screetch and a loud CRASH! I turn and look behind me and her car is off on the side of the road after apparently T-boning another car turning out of a parking lot. The light turns green and I make a U-Turn to see if she's ok. I pull up next to her and ask her if she's alright. She very sarcastically says "I'm fine." very flustered by what just happened. I say "Glad everyone's ok" and drive away smirking a devilish grin.

im the ONLY owner of a TL in the southside area and i get looks and compliments all the time...they know its an Acura but becuz its debadged they sit there wondering the model...

i have an abp 2nd gen tl-s with dark tint. it gets a lot of looks on the road, my gf always points it out to me she gets a kick out of it. she always says how cool she feels when she drives my car lmao.
