I always see people sneaking a peek at my ride. Some people even do a drive by... maybe they don't like the smell of my fumes

 

I get it alot now, especially when stuck in traffic to/from work. There was one time where I was sitting in traffic, and an SUV pulls by and the driver stuck his head out and got a full view while slowly passing by me.

 

Used to turn heads in my Trans Am all the time when it was brand new Man I miss turning heads, now I just get all the ricers gritting on me

 

My TL is pretty much stock so it blends in with society.

 

AHAHA no im not black im just tan.. Yea it probly will blend in with the city folk... those damn ricers, They are always on me/starin me down, but i know they are just jealous because none of they're cars are worth more that $2000 , but have $3000 b18 engines.. I dont get it... My car isnt much, just big rims, blacked tails, and shiny paint I love it... I have had people come up to me and ask me about it, and compliment it. Im in love with my car.

Yeah out here in Fairfax Aston Martin's, Ferrari's, Lambo's, GTR's, Maserati's, etc are a dime a dozen on the strip I work on. Modded cars like ours rarely get any attention unless you venture closer to the sticks or if there's a pack of us runnin together.

Where do you live that an old TL turns head?

I have an 03 CL-S when I first got it and kept it real clean, I'd get a comment maybe every once in a while, but that was when it was brand new. No one really gave it much attention though, why should they? When you see an A4 do you go oh wow what an amazing car.

 

Well you see, the thing is, 98% of all cars around in corvallis/hamilton, MT are worth about 5k. or less. some cars are only a year old and look like sheite. Rust is a very prevalant thing around here. A4's are all ugly any way. There are a COUPLE nice cars around in my town, but when the population is only bout 4000 peeps, everyone knows you anyway.. I think its because i just keep it nice. Up north about 45 mins away is a larger town called missoula, doesnt turn as much heads there. but in the undereducated, poor, shithole, dumbass town i live in; I gotta nice car

I think its more about the paint, the rims, and the rareity. theres only a couple tl's round here. Mostly driven by old people, business dudes etc..

TL's are a dime a dozen out here. I think I see more of them then newer Accords or Camrys. The first year or so of the 3rd gen, maybe. Now, they are everywhere.

 

When both my yellow fogs worked, I'd get looks from all the riced out Hondas that drove by.

Also, my car is lowered but looks stock other than that, and when I last took it to the dealership the service rep who took it back for me had a "wait, wtf?" look as he realized that it was much lower than it should be.

Miami is a huge city...but you sure see some sick cars..a month ago on US1 they had a ferrari enzo on display in the dealership

 

My TL never turns heads everyone here has one it seems. I live in this little ghetto ass town near philly now and all I see is tastelessly modded TL's and even :gasp: camrys. WTF is wrong with people? I keep seeing TLs with 20 inch chromies and no drop and people around here think it looks good.

 

There's a very large Mexican population bordering my university, and there are SO MANY riced out Hondas everywhere

Sorry i stereotyped miami FL, theres prolly a lot of shitters down there too **not dissing on the TL's down there either** But its mostly domestics around here in western MT, there is a black 98 camry or so with like 20" or 22"s its way jacked up . I never looked close to it so i couldnt tell, (im bad at tellin what size rims are from long distances) and this ford explorer with chrome 22's he waves at me. There's like this big rim unspoken club.. dunno why but we all wave at eachother.. Its bout respect yo! jokes jokes, No im not a wigger either

There is just so many TLs on the road around here that ppl are bored of them I guess but I always get nods from younger TL owners. Its a sigh of respect for the good taste we got in cars haha

get the occasional wtf kind of car is that look? (debaged) being in truck country (texas) you dont see many acuras modded. few tegs/civics thats about it. i love when trucks try to race though <3. noobs. austin is another story, theres a good bit of CLs (couple guys on AZ) there and tons of accords/ludes. i love goin there.
