Turned off my car but fan still running

Nissan Almera. When I turned off the engine, I can hear that the fan is still running for few seconds before it is totally off. What is the wrong with it?

OP. Don't turn engine off. Problem solved. Or take out the fan.

Not sure on the more modern era cars (haven't noticed it on any of our recent cars) , but it was fairly common for cooling fans to run independent of the car ignition. They would either continue to run after the ignition was turned off or in some cases would start after. Unless it is running incessantly, I wouldn't worry about it.
And agree with others - why register on an Acura website for a question about a Nissan?

Almeras didn't even exist in the states so he's probably from another country and found the most awesomest car forum on the Internet (searched google for "COOOLEST CAR FORUM") and found us here

I would go as far as saying AZuser is not a fan?

I'll show myself out

I noticed he mentioned Almera, wasn't familiar with it, looked it up and came to a similar conclusion about being from outside the US. Either that or he imported it..............
