Even though loosening the switches has the problem solved, the dealer is blaming the OEM Subaru Homelink mirror I installed in the otherwise untouched factory harness using the factory harness (small "bridge" connector between the mirror's connector & the car) that came with the mirror.
They are so dumb they called it aftermarket and are claiming it caused the problems even though it's solved after loosening the bolt with the mirror installed.
I decided it's easier to spend the 27 bucks shipped I fount them for and telling them to f00k off.

Yes. I went for a manual 2015 but chose this 70k less mile certified automatic.
I like the auto, it shifts very well and I can put it in manual and use the paddles.
It's not a thing, that's a Volkswagen. This is a Toybaru

I had to travel to AZ for work during August, it's brutal but at least not sticky.
Florida on the other hand... was like my scrotum was super glued to my thighs. It was only April/May. Showered before heading out. Even at midnight, it was miserable outside. I'm sure you "get used to it", but I wanted to die.

It was 102 on the way to work at 4:20. It most likely won't be under 90 until late September/early October.
I have been here since 2006, I doubt I'll get used to it.
Sorry the picture sucks, it's hard to get off a freeway & take a picture at the same time.
To the left of the 6 it has an M when in manual mode. Paddle shifters work great. Honestly, the auto shifts better than I can but it's fun to use the paddles.

Went to Tuscon in June a couple years ago and it was hot AF out but still bearable because no humidity. Went to south florida couple weeks after and hated life.
MN is also hot and humid during the summer. It seriously sucks.

Thanks, it's been like that for years. I had the Tundra on it, I don't go under on the ramps, use it like this just to get inside the bumper to install the lights or mostly to lift the car off the ground to get jackstands under it and lift more with the jack/supported on jackstands.

I thought the same thing. That warning label on the end probably says that too, "do not use if broken, discard immediately", but that text is on the cracked and missing piece. So no harm, no foul. Good to go!

I just think...it's plastic, when it does finally give out, it ain't gonna be gentle on the way down.
I'm that old man in the neighborhood lecturing the 20 somethings I see under their cars without
jackstands. Seriously, I've done it twice.

We've all done it ... we just lived to read / learn about it. .
There's been a couple times where I've had a car rock back and forth on jackstands due to them not being even .... yeah, that's how you make your butthole pucker a bit.
Oof.

on the rsx forums there was a local girl that came out to her bf under the car the next morning after she went to bed and he was working on her car.
that stuck with me...my life is worth more than trusting a chinese made jack o-ring to hold the 3500 pounds up off my chest.

I agree, it can be unsafe, thing is I never go under the car on it. I use it to get the car up high enough to put the jackstands under or in this case 1/2 way up the ramp (look at the picture) and I did it to get the wheel out of the way to get inside the bumper to install the fog.
It happened literally 5+ years ago and has never been a problem but as I am aware I would & will never get under the car with it like that.

wheels always slide under the car as a backup, and I usually leave the jack in place just in case. It may not save the car from damage but as long as it buys me some time to gtfo from under it, I'm happy.

Jack was also still under the car also.
Flex fuel kit is out for delivery. Unfortunately it's 111.
Saved 75.00 on the display because the module is BT, unfortunately, it's only an Android app. So I trotted the S9 out of mothballs.

Second I looked at the fuel line removal "tool" I knew it was going to end up broken with the line connected.
Call me Nostradamus!
Both 1/2s disappeared into the motor, one I could see and tried to retrieve with a long needlenose but just pushed it under the intake.
Looked up the real tool and found numerous videos showing that type of tool does not work & people using 1/2 tried to find the other 1/2 no go, found a video where a guy used picks, looking for picks in my tools now.
grrrrr

Installed the tune file & went & got e85, Kind of an adventure finding the pump it was on but got it pumped, car feels amazing!
Sent on the way & with e85 logs to the tuner.
Still can't get it to be seen by the S9.
