Ready for the work bullshit report?
They finally caved and are doing what I suggested day 1 (verify the new hires with HR & change the submitter to the HR rep that initiated the request)

So we literally had 185 new hires, (30 started 8/30) 75 terminations and 75 status changes (manager, job description) etc.

My best tech walked off the job yesterday, sent a scathing email to EVERYONE throwing everyone above me under the steam roller and the chief idiocy officer was summoned from Atlanta to Phoenix for a come to Jesus meeting with the big boss.

Where's my popcorn???

When I had my BMWs I only ordered from FCP. They shipped fast and stood behind the purchases.

Could you not have hammered to lug out, instead of drilling it out?
That's what I was able to do when 2 broke off on my 2G TL.

Hammer through the rim/brakes/hub assembly?

Remove wheel, rotor/caliper & work on hub directly?
You likely had to/will have to do all of that when installing the new one, no?

To get the wheel off, this broken lug had to come off.

he's confusing the lug nut from the stud itself.

Though you'd broken the lug stud.
Didn't realize it was a broken lug nut.

IIRC, the Tundra/Sequoia use a 2-piece lug nut & this is a fairly common problem?

he was drilling out the broken lug nut and had no choice but to drill into the stud requiring stud replacement.
My ex wife calls a divorce a stud replacement (at least in my case).

I think you've put more work into this thing than any Sequoia owner ever has into their truck.

$20k in Toyota parts is quite a bit different from $20k in Jeep parts though.

Not as much as you'd think considering they are aftermarket parts, not OEM. The only part that would be more expensive is the front independent suspension components which are a lot more complex than the solid axle versions.

Can't we all agree that it's all overpriced when one doesn't actually use these off-road parts?

They get used. How do you think these people can hop the curb at the local Applebees?

Finally installed my plates. My Sequoia had no holes in the frame for the rear plate brackets. Guess I'll be drilling.

There's a convenient bracket to route the ziptie off of, too.

It's to prevent the cactus in the mall landscaping from damaging the underside when he hops a curb.

I don't think the skids on my Jeep are even that good.
