Everyone here that drives the CL-S all think its way underpowered.

I drive a 5spd 2.3 and had a auto tsx as a loaner. I thought it was pretty peppy, definately faster then my tortise, in sport shift mode, specially at speed on the highway. I liked it. Im strictly a manual driver though.

Id say go drive one, and make sure you get to take it on the highway too.

I drove one. guy tried to sell me one before I bought my 03 CLS last June. Handles great, but I felt like yawning when I pushed the pedal to the floor.

I had one as a loaner and I also had an 04 TL as a loaner. I would not go from the Max to the TSX, the Max is a better car for crazy drivers.

tsx is a slug....

If someone ever makes a turbo kit for it, it wouldn't be a bad little car.

If honda/acura puts a 6 cylinder in there they will sell like hot cakes.

ya if they put a 6 in there i dont think it would have any competition.

then again, theyd need a lighter six than the 3.2 to keep that handling in tact

If he wants some more speed and hp out of his sedan, tell him to get the 2004 TL. I would have that car in a second (6-spd of course!) if they hadn't upped the price some this year. I will get one once dealer picks one up that has few miles on it and has come down in price some. Even for MSRP, it is still a sweet car. Kills BMW 3 series I think and is way cheaper than 5 series.
