If gas is an issue how about downgrade to the lower 535i or 528i. Or a E350 buletec diesel?

WTF he never said paying for gas was an issue. He just said he would like it if the car had better fuel economy. Who doesnt want that these days.

Get a 535i and call it a day. Do European delivery too. Werd.

If you get an Audi, you will regret your decision. That is unless you don't mind having to constantly drop it off at the dealer and spend more time in a rental than your car. That has been my experience. Our family has had 7 audi's and every one was a lemon. My Pop's has not learned his lesson and bought a new 09 A6 3.0t and it is still an inferior product. Among other things, he keeps having LED's go out in the headlight. Every time he brings it in they have to special order a new headlight and install it again. What a PITA. My .

I haven't had any problems with my car or the LEDs so far (knock on wood).

I don't particularly like the front-end styling on the new 5, but if you don't mind losing the sound of the V8, the 535i is a great car.

umm, i'm not sure what the words in bold mean, but i'm gonna guess better gas mileage is what he is looking for. you don't have to be poor to want better mileage. some people just want to be kinder to the environment.

i still think the op should look at diesel options like the E350bluetec

Have you ever thought about an A8?

I've always loved those cars and think the fuel economy is not as bad as some other comparable cars.

I don't remember what's an option and what's standard..

It's dark blue, auburn interior, 360 HP, navigation, PDC, M-Tech body kit w/ 19" wheels, huper optik tint all around, logic 7, cold weather package, sport package, clear bra.

Probably some stuff I'm forgetting, but that's the gist of it.

There's probably pics somewhere on here I may have posted.

Um, how about a Hyundai Sonata (10 year/100K warranty), 274HP turbo, then use the leftover money to mod the hell out of it and buy a Mini for the gas mileage.

$925/mo with the down payment rolled in, 36 months, based on $75k MRSP. Thats not a very good lease deal. Fair, at best.

i didnt realize thats what you meant by the "down payment rolled in." i usually dont factor in the down payment into the monthly payment when calculating leases since its paid upfront. unless obviously if i want 0 down. so sorry i didnt understand why you were doing that at first.

haha. damn, i get an apology too?

since down payments vary, its always easier to say a car is xxx/mo with the down payment rolled in so you have a raw value of the car...and a true unit of comparison.

its easier to just say sorry/avoid confrontation than to get into a huge argument and banned haha just relax and go easier on people.

thanks for that tid bit on raw value too

best looking mini, thats large enough to not be mistaken as a chick car, but small enough to perform well, all while being very versatile.

and seems like the initial reviews by magazines are pretty good too.

I dont know. Despite everything practical that has been said here, and despite what I've said, I think I may end up getting a 2011 550i.

The power is just too much to give up. Damn the gas prices.

While I'm sure the Genesis is a nice car - call me shallow - but it doesn't have the status/presence I am seeking on the road.

At least not yet.

Approved by me, man. It's an AWESOME car!

I know some people don't like the look of it, but I personally love the look of it with sports or M package! Good luck man!

If you get another new bimmer, this is a must.
i have no idea why more americans don't do this, such an awesome way to buy a car

but if you're looking for something a lot different, a lot better on gas, and will turn some heads, albeit at a higher price than a 5 series, try checking out the Fisker Karma, costs about 90k, set to be finally released in July or so, such a sexy car, i'd get one if i had anywhere near that much money
