traded the es for my new love
The old es300 had 160k on the clock and it was time to replace it.
I placed in on craigslist and it sold in less than one day.
I bought a 2003 rl with 66k. It has new brakes/tires and most belts. The interior is a little dirty but damage free. The rotors seem like they need to be turned down even though they are like new. I think the philly traffic may have something to do with that or the PO.
The car was parked under trees for a few years so i had to clean up tree shit from all nooks and crannies. I need to buff it with the porter cable.
I had a 2000 rl about 5 years ago and had to trade/sell it. I have regretted it for a long time. I love this color and this one has a few features the other didn't. I don't have navi, but that's ok.
There are more dings on the car than i like. When i had the guy look at it i noticed more of em and he said it was hail damage. So, for about $500 i can have a ding free car. I am about 90% there about saying yes to it.
This is one of the last great acuras made in japan and i am enjoying the hell out of it.
I was getting about 22 mpg in my es300 and i remember getting about 20 in this. But now i need to use premium instead of the 87 i was using.
I don't really worry about fuel mileage so i am not that concerned.
I don't like buying new vehicles and my suite spot is 4-7 years when buying them. By then the previous owners have taken the biggest hit on the price.

Very nice, but I have a question.
It looks like, on the interior pic with the steering wheel, that there is a sizable gap. Did the airbag deploy? Meaning, was this an accident car and he didn't tell you? I'm not trying to on your new car, but I thought I would ask.
No VIP..... Just bigger wheels and tires to fill the gap a bit, that's all.
