TLS....Gone!

Just Sold my TLS ... and i didnt know how I was gonna take it but i really do miss it now. I should have kept it ... or atleast for another year. I miss the navi, the bold ebony interior.

Oh How i miss it now !

On a brighter side, I ordered the new A8 L. It was either that or the Cayenne but i fell in love with A8 L.

Thanks for reading my rantin !

Congrats on the new Audi. Sure is a beauty of a car.

On another note, may I ask what you do to be able to afford such an expensive crew of cars?? I HOPE that by your age I'll be able to afford such nice cars. Kudos to you dude!!

Why an A8L though? That's a hot vehicle, but it's an old fart's car.......

Sorry, if I saw a 24yr old behind the wheel of an A8L, the only thing that would come to mind is "dad's car."

Put some bling wheels on it and tint, that way at least it might remotely look like its your car.

Congrats though.

Actually, I spend a lot of time commutin to and from work! I want a very very comfortable ride. And A8 just takes the cake. I test drove the 911 Turbo, Gallardo... but honestly in the end I want a daily driver that I can be very comfortable in. The other sports cars didnt offer me the comfort level and jus too flashy for my taste.

Hence the A8 L. I ve yet to sign the paper work on the A8 L cuz they still havent found my request color combo. Im open to suggestions...
My requirements are a daily driver and somethin very comfortable yet stylish.

shit, but if you test drove a gallardo and a turbo, so i'm sure price isn't the prevailing issue

U know i was thinkin of the SL 65 AMG ... my friend has a SL 600 RennTech and it has amazing torque !!!

But i dont mean to be a brat, the SL 65 i drove felt too much like my CLK. And U know i fell in love the A8 interior. Looks like a friggin airplane cockpit ! My gyrl was soo confused jus to turn on the CD player.

Some1 mentioned the Maserati, Too flashy for IMHO. I m gonna be leasin the A8 !

Here are some pics of my freinds SL 600. This car is a beast !

Enjoy!

If you're going to get the A8, get the W12!

SL600 I actually like it more than the SL65, has a "cleaner" look when stock, IMO.

So you have a '02 CLK 430 AMG and an '05 Audi A8 L (on order)? What do you do for a living, out of curiosity? I really like the A8, good choice.

That guy posts on MBWorld.......he had the SL55, then got the SL600 (did up like the SL55, same wheels).

Wasn't he trying to sell the SL600?

Lol, the SL65 felt like your CLK?.......are you fucking kidding?

You're shopping for all these ridiculous cars, I hope you're at least getting the W12 A8.

If you're just leasing a V8 A8L, that's no big deal and would imagine you're just talking a big game.

Sorry, I'm not easy to impress.

hold up, i thought the non-L A8 were like 69k. and the L's for 80 or so..if your budget is this big, go all out. decked out w12 A8L, 4 captain seater. $120k+.

agree w/ beltfed on this one. you gotta throw something on that whip so ppl dont think that daddy commuted to work and you snuck out his car. (that was me 5 years ago, hehe)

could you please give me some type of an idea of what you do for a living? if you dont mind...

Why wouldn't any of you consider an A8 to be a car more of status and not age-classification? If I was 24 years old and I had a lot of money to spend, I would want a car that reflects my status as a successful and pretty much classy businessman. I just think classifying a car as one that should only be driven by a certain audience is stupid, because different individuals are at different points in their lives in terms of success, funds, and other things like that. They call a Porsche a sports car for someone with a ''mid-life crisis,'' yet if I was 25 and I was wealthy that's one of the first cars I would buy. I just don't get it really.

By the way, good luck with your A8, I love that car. It's been praised a whole lot by car magazines compared to other full-size luxury sedans. What color combo did you get?

While everyone around me fantasizes about STi's and 350Z's, I dream about the M45 and the RL

Very true. I bought the TLS for me at first and then gave it to my younger brother for his commute to and from college. He lives in downtown and doesnt need the car. It was just collecting dust. So i figure i sell it and use the money elsewhere.

You are right! He did upgrade his SL 55 to a SL 600 for more torque. If you already know of him, than U know his car collection is Riduculous. I mean he loves cars and his car collection is beautiful. Definitely have a lotta respect for him and what he does

Newho, U prolly misread me, Im NOT tryin to impress ne1... I never said gettin the A8L is a big deal. Its gonna be a lease and ill move on to maybe somethin bigger once i have a family ... maybe the Range Rover Sport thats comin out !!! Who knows ..

But Beltfed, my intentions were not to come off as a talker .. far from it.. Talk is cheap neway !!!

My business partner has a '04 M3 convertble with a SMG. Carbon black with a cinnaomon interrior... im sooo tempted ... but its a soft top and chicago winters suck ....

Choices choices choices !

What do you do for a living? You've been asked like 5 times and still haven't said anything. I'm guessing it's illegal or porn.

An A8L!!! Holy smokes! I actually KNOW someone that owns one. He actually let me drive it. He actually torched my TL-S in it. You are the luckiest man on the planet. I envy you. Take lots of pictures and post them for my pleasure. And heh, if you ever want to drive a TL Type-S again, we can trade for a day...or an eternity
