comon who wouldnt buy a 32k rsx over a evo, sti, 350z, r32, rx8 etc. i know i would. Since iv'e seen the rsx type s for 23,000, how could a body kit wheels tires etc be 9 grand. Makes no sense.

Way overpriced. Just do it aftermarket over time.... cheaper and you're not making the dealer rich.

well the main thing is for 9 grand you can get a shyt load of stuff more than just the body kit, rims, tires & suspension

for 9 g's you can get

Volk Wheels ~ about $2500 with decent tires
Suspension
Tein Coilover ~ $1000 (Shocks, Springs)
Camber Kit ~ $300
Sway bar ~ $300

Engine
Headers ~ $400
Intake ~ $300
Exhaust ~ $700

Exterior
Body Kit ~ $2000 (painted)
CF Hood ~ $500

Total: $8000 with $1G to spare for instalation of parts and other stuff

these prices are estimates of course but i may have over estimated some things a lil bit.

i feel sorry for the sucker that buys it.

# High performance, track-tuned shocks and springs
Comptech springs and after market shocks will cost:

$ 554.95 + tax (springs +install)
$ 80.00 + tax (for alignment)
$ 300.00 +tax ( shocks)

# Lightweight 18x8.5 alloy wheels
$1500.00 + tax +shipping (rims)
forged as the aspec rims...

# High performance Yokohama 235/40VR18 95W tires

$624.00 + tax

# Performance brake pads (automatic transmission-equipped models)

# Aero kit featuring front air dam, chin spoiler, side skirts and choice of deck lid or rear wing spoiler

$1300.00

TOTAL: $4400.00

you really don't end up paying that much less. I used aftermarket suppliers and applied the cost i'd pay for.

Cost over the standard TL (34,000) is about 5gs. I'm sure you could negotiate the price down a grand. Nonetheless....it's not as bad as one would think. Moreover when it comes time to sell the car you don't have to worry about swapping parts, selling or taking a hit on the install cost that you'll never be able to recover.

It's a pretty good deal if you ask me. I wish there was more power thrown in the mix but i'm sure they'll offer it in the future.

I was referring to brian6speed's post:

that's where the 9's comes from, he brought up the point of the rsx being way too overpriced. so i replied to that comment, not about the tl
