who knows. I won't do it for a while if I do. The car still feels new to me...have to get a bit more comfortable with it. Haha speaking of ricers, the lack of Japanese vehicles up here is saddening. Then again, it is Michigan. But Hondas and Toyotas are often laughing stock among many people here. It's rather ignorant.
I am! 25xx miles as of this morning. Took it in for service last week as there's a rattle near the seat belt tensioner on the drivers side. Still isn't resolved, but other than that, I love the car. The way it rides and handles is incredible for being a mass-market sedan. I get lots of compliments on the car also which is neat. The toys still entertain me to no end. Remote start is already coming in handy here in Michigan. Adaptive cruise is weird as hell and I'm still not used to it. Push to start is lovely. MyFordTouch is actually very intuitive and easy to use, despite some reviews. I don't regret trading the TL, but I do miss the high-revving V6. The 2.0 is powerful but it still sounds like a four cylinder.
What's the mileage of your TL sitting at?

I'm at 135k though I've only driven 16k miles since December 2011. It's running like a champ with no problems whatsover. I'm a bit bored with it though. I think I would already be in something new if I didn't get the exhaust and coilovers.

I'll be making a big purchase later this month but don't want to give anything away

Do you plan on doing anything else to the Fusion? How long is the lease?

Maybe if I had a 6-speed, but I don't want to waste the money modding an automatic. Plus I can't stop thinking about getting an Audi A4 Avant or parting out the TL and getting a S2000 as a weekend car

Lease is 36 months. So I'll be turning it in September 2016, which is the fall after I graduate college. Hoping I have a damn good job so I can lease something even cooler. No other major mods. Perhaps HIDs and some LED swapping here and there.

Took the car on its first road trip this weekend. Went back to my dads place in Indianapolis, racked up about 800 miles.
Cliffs:
1) 33 MPG highway my ass. Averaged 28. In the TL, making the same trip, I'd get 32. Mind you, this car has a four cylinder. Whatever.
2) Buttery smooth and dead quiet on the highway. Adaptive cruise is absolutely the best thing since sliced bread. Enables my lazy ass to be even more comfortable.
3) The color. After a nice waxing, I couldn't stop staring at the paint.

Oh lord. I bet that was fun.

It was a good trip indeed! The car made it even better.

But I love the thing. Truly it's been fantastic and Titanium is the only way to go, IMO. The added features are excellent. The Sony audio is very powerful, the perforated leather seats are nice, keyless entry with remote start, etc. Mine has the adaptive cruise control and I'll never own another car without it.
If I could do it over, I'd get the car again. I wouldn't be surprised if my next vehicle was another Ford. Everyone rags on MyFordTouch but the recent updates have made it completely stable and responsive. I can't say I've ever had the system crash or not work properly, if that's of a concern to you. Earlier versions had teething issues.
Nice to hear the car is treating you well. I was toying around with getting an AWD Fusion Titanium, a year used so I don't bet killed on the depreciation.
Hows the navi unit? easy to use?

Nav is pretty simple to use. The graphics are really clean, with images of street signs on your route, lane guidance, and speed limit information (great feature).
these cars are known for fit/finish issues. i work on these pretty regularly at the dealership. mostly trim issues. id love to have to same car/color you got.
titanium is the only way to go. the lesser trims are really cheesy. lol.

Dark Side is awesome. Was only available for 2014.
