Picked up an 01 TL for fun.

Looking into it.....

SRS light has always been on since i got it as per previous owner. Car is running great, 50K miles on an 01 TL... More than decent shape. My questions are:

1) once I engaged the hand brake to test it out, the BRAKE light came on (great!), but... its still on although the brake is disengaged. I checked the brake fluid level, all is well.. no leaks.

2) the battery light is on on the left. Manual says that the system isnt charging jack if its on... I kept it on, used a charger but to no avail. I also ran the car for a while with high beams, stereo, seat heaters, lights and everything else electrical on for a while... all is well as well... Anyone have similar weird things? Help out....
