TL Concept at this years NY Auto Show

As Per the Car Connection...

ACURA PRICES TSX FROM $26,490

Acura says its newest four-door, the TSX, will have a base price starting at $26,490 for either the six-speed manual or five-speed automatic. The only factory-installed option is a $2000 navigation system. The TSX — a version of the Honda Accord sold in Europe — slots between the RSX two-door and the 3.2 TL four-door in size, and carries a 200-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder as its powerplant. Acura’s next sedan up to bat will be a new TL, which shows up in concept form at this month’s New York Auto Show.

The longer it takes for a brand new TL, the even longer it will take for a new premium coupe, so this creates more value for the CL. No newer Acura coupe to compete with it (if the CL is dropped this year).

If i remember correctly though the TL-X, which was the concept version of the current TL came out at the NY auto show and then the regular TL came out in the fall (of 98 i think).

Yeah, I kind of remember that too. But the production TL looked nothing like the TL-X... so why bother. I just want to see the production model....

Yeah I agree. Never care what the concepts look like, they are always too futuristic and ugly.
