Thinking of getting this NSX

1992 NSX - Sebring Silver

I'm thinking of getting an NSX as a weekend car. What do you guys think of this one... Is there anything I should look out for when getting one?

Yeah, 30k is kind of steep for a car that old.

Seems like he has everything covered but the only thing i would find out is a detailed report of how the snap ring range problem was taken care of . if you go to NsxPrime.com and search there FAQ on this subject you will see there is a proper way to fix this and a short cut method which isnt really a fix. As for the car not being worth it because its 12 years old i can tell you that a well maintained Nsx is as good as a new one without the cost. Ive had mine for nine years now without a problem except regular maintaince. If I was you I would make a post on NsxPrime as there are people there who are more qualified to help you screen out this car then me....good luck with your decision. Mine is a 91 by the way.

good luck. make sure you can handle it though.

I'm dead serious. You need to know how to drive before you get that one.

I've driven one and got arrested in it LOL. It's a little underpowered for my tastes but handles like a go kart. I love the shifter and the quality of the interior. you can't fit jack in the glove compartment though. I agree with it being a little pricey. I would buy a used Supra or a Vette instead

I guess I am harping, but how many 19 year old kids do you know that can afford (allegedly) their own 2004 TL AND a 1992 NSX?

Come on.... If this kid will tell the truth, I'd be happy to move on....

Quite frankly, the joke is getting old to me, too.

It is a lot of money but then again those cars are still in demand

If you have the free cash, go for it, I sure would!

I really don't understand why I keep getting harped on by you? Is it that you are jelous? I admit that I don't really make that much money ($40k a year), but it's my money and if I want to spend it I can. Again, I'm not purchasing this NSX, I'm just thinking about a cool car to have for the weekends and fun. I'll problay end up with an old Mini. I can afford my own 04 TL, otherwise I wouldn't have it... the bank would have taken it already... Please stop the harping, I'm sorry if I come off as full of myself or bragging, that is not my intent. We are all here here for the same purpose and it's not necessary to put others down. Peace bro...

i wouldnt spend that much for a 10+ yr old car

especially if i only made 40k yr...

at the same time... if you wanna blow your money... you probably wont lose much on the investment over the next year.

Emu........... if hes got a cosigner he can certainly make the payments.

Not the smartest thing the kid could do... but he could theoretically do it if he had no other bills

I didn't need a cosigner for the TL. I have a 6.4% rate @ 60mo. tho.

i dunno about the price but to me, buying a NSX is like buying a piece of history! I love that car even though the design is very old! I'm not sure about THAT NSX but if I were you I'd definitely get the NSX!
