Thinking about getting a truck...
Ya know, I have seriously been considering getting a truck within the next 6months or so. I have to go out to construction sites where I could use a 4x4 and I'm looking at buying a house next spring and feel that I will really need a truck for those weekend trips to Home Depot.
So as for needs:
4X4
Enough room for a child seat
Place to put a sub or two
So far thinking about:
2004 or 2005 Tacoma Double Cab
2004 or 2005 Ford F150 Xtra Cab Lariat
I didn't want to go with a big truck, but the new F150 looks damn good. They have some good confort and convience options (auto a/c, homelink, leather, shifter on the center console instead of on the steering column).
The Tacoma speeks for itself, Toyota quality and reliability. It is smaller so it will be easier to drive around town and cheeper on gas. It's biggest downfalls are the lack of interior options and no room to put a sub.
Anyone have any input for me?
Thanks!
