I got off work this morning at 5 excited to get on the FDR so i can blaze on the empty road only to have all my energy drained by the sight of someone stealing all the emblems off my car, she was parked in upper manhattan now how low do you have to be to steal a fellow acura fans emblems....anyway any one knows where i can get a good deal on replacing these around brooklyn

 

what the hell is wrong with people? Did they fuck up your paint when they took them? If I were you I would hunt ebay for the main "A" emblem and just leave it debadged. Clean up the goo with rubbing alcohol and rewax.

That sucks but its not worth it to mess with them over a $25 part, people are desparate and crazy. At least it wasn't something more valuable.

 

I was tongue-in-cheek humor. I'm not advocating using deadly force against someone messing with another's car. But I wouldn't lose sleep if something bad happened to someone doing something like that.

I say the de-badged look is a good one. As long as the idiots didn't screw up your paint or dent anything.

actually it did mess up my paint, the parts where the emblems were took the clear coat clean off and i am thinking to replace it with the honda inspire emblems cause i doubt any one who isn't a true acura fan will steal those....and if i see any tl-p with a tl-s emblem i am gonna look at tem as suspect

Sucks that paint is messed up. Did you clean it really well? I took them off my 05 TL after a few months of having it and thought the clear was messed up too. After some polishing I found it was a bit of hazing and a ghost effect if you will. Can't tell now

 

That sucks dude. I had someone take 2 letters off my Maxima a couple years back. Annoying.
