Test drove a CL-S this weekend

This last Saturday I test drove a new Acura CL-S. First let me say that everything that one would comment on in a test drive was very good. Power, comfort, braking, etc. But I have a big concern that I wanted to voice to you guys, and get your feedback on.

I noticed a definite pulling to the side when dirving the car, like the car was extremely off center. It didn't just happen when braking, it seemed to be present all the time. Also, even when going straight, the steering wheel was off center.

It was enough to make me nervous about the car. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what is it? Is it typical?

Thanks.

Doesn't sound right - try another test drive with another one.

I thought maybe it was torque-steer or something; I'm coming from a rear-drive (pickup truck). I thought that maybe since I wasn't used to FWD it was just that - but now I'm convinced it couldn't be that. This car didn't track straight at all, and I can't stand to be going straight and have the wheel cocked to the side.

It is clearly a misalignment. Someone who was test driving it hit a pot hole and misaligned the car.. this can be fixed quickly by the dealer.

Well, I drove a 6MT and experienced too much torque steer, so I will stick to the "slush box", since I drove mine on the same road at WOT and had NO torque steer like the 03 6mt gave me. It could have been that car, but C&D mentioned it too !

It must have been that car, maybe too many test drives. This car tracks very well imho.
