taking off tint myself?

Is this advisable?

I got a front windows ticket and it would end up being cheaper to just rip the tint off and get it re-done later.

Has anyone taken tint off of their windows by themselves? Or is it better for me to just have a shop handle it?

Yup, I just did mine myself a few weeks ago. The glue smells like crap (hence the title of my thread)

Specifically the last 3 posts are helpful.

If you need any other help, just ask.

instead of a brillow pad use a #00 or 000 Steel Wool pad, seen to many windows scratched w/ a brillow. Windex or Simple Green work great w/ the steel wool
