Is Suzuki a good car brand?

I was actually thinking of looking at a Suzuki SX4 as maybe a winter car now because of standard AWD. I know that Suzuki is famous for their motorcyles, but not their cars. Is Suzuki a good brand or should I stay away like the plague?

The SX4 seems to have pretty good reliability so far.... comparable to if not better than, say, a Ford Focus from what I've read. But it's still a relatively new model.

Consumer Reports:

Seems like the Suzuki missed the "reliability" class when Japanese auto makers were learning how to build cars.

Damn, you been looking for a awd car for over a year now!

Just throw snow tires on the TSX and call it a day.

If you want reliable AWD, go look at Subaru. They're better than a Suzuki, and if you get the right one (WRX, Legacy GT), you'll want to drive it in the summer.
