LMI Air Hammer. This thing is a work of art in person. I think I might repaint my valve covers in the near future. The orange just isn't fitting the theme IMO.

You should just reprint them with them lettering. It makes the engine bay feel more cluttered.

Do you mean paint them without the lettering? I was thinking about making it a simple 345 HEMI graphic maybe in blue or silver but solid wouldn't be a bad idea either. Hmm.

I didn't like the hammer when I had it....Too damn loud at WOT. People used to look at me when I drove by...

Make sure it doesn't move. Mine almost ran into the pulley after some miles. I caught it during a wash.

Too loud? Thats supposed to be in red text right? It sounds pretty much identical to the AFE so not louder or quieter.

Good call on checking the tightness. That's one thing I was a little meh about on the hammer bring its only held in place with the silicone coupler. I checked it today and it hasn't moved so all is good.

So this happened over the weekend. It's always been a thing with me reaching 60,000 miles. I think my dad told me that at 60k you have to decide whether it's time to sell a car or hold onto it for the long haul. No question in my mind Sapphire's not going anywhere.

Yeah it's more of an old school thing I suppose. I have 16 spark plugs to change at the 60k mile maintenance schedule. That should be fun.

Yikes! That will be a pain. If it was a BMW, the dealership would charge you $200,000 for that service.

Good thing the 16 stock NGK replacements were only $65 shipped from rockauto.com.
