Super Car Sunday

Up in Calabasas every Sunday they have a car show in a local parking lot. The last Sunday of every month is the big one. Jay Leno usually shows up in something, lots of people bring their awesome rides.

This Sunday wasn't as big as last months (where I didnt bring my camera) there was a Veyron, a couple 300SL Gullwings, a ZR1, a hennesey ZR1, a plymouth roadrunner, etc etc etc.

This weekends turnout wasnt terrible:

This is my friend's custom S/C Exige. Fun fun ride:

I wasn't going to go but I ended up waking up ass early.

It was worth it to finally see a Yenko in person.

I know nothing of photography David, but I absolutely loved your pics. The way the shadows and reflections fall is stunning, and the general contrasting is beautiful.

The black plate 1955 550. This is the one I would take before any of the others.

Wow gorgeous cars there, the CGT, Ferraris and muscle cars but the car that surprised me is that Shelby, it's got a nice agressive stance!

The 2010? I dont know the story behind it, but I saw it last month, too. The cowl under the hood is signed by Henry Ford VII.

The 2010 GT500 has a greatly revised suspension package. Not only does it handle much better, the stance and rake has improved significantly.

Very nice... and good idea on the vignetting. I hate harsh lighting at meets.

thanks, vignetting has become a big part of my processing style. If you look at most of my stuff I have some amount of vignetting in it. just like how it can draw your attention to the subject.

I also hated the lighting today, but car meets arent very ideal to me to take photos, too congested. i rushed through these, too. I think I over processed a bunch of them. But the main idea is to share the awesome cars with everyone.

The silver tones came out quite well. The reds IMO are a little much in some shots

They all look great though.

I just saw one of these on Motor Week a couple of weeks ago. It does 0-60 in the 3 second range. I also costs like 65K and can be registered as a street legal motorcycle.

They used to make some of the Atoms in Ashland Oregon, you could see them on I-5 and throughout the back roads of Southern Oregon.

Awesome cars with awesome pics <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Everytime I see these nice corvettes it really puts the modern day corvettes to shame. The ZR1 changes that a little but it still doesn't compare to the fine exterior and interior details the corvettes used to have on.
