Suggestions Please

So I currently have an 05 TL.
My sister is turning 16 and will most likely get my car.

I would like yall to give me some suggestions on what car might fit my needs.

I would like for the car to have:
RWD
Auto
Leather
At least the same HP and Torque as the TL
4 seats, not necessarily 4 doors though
Good reliability
Budget would be around 17K or so?

I don't really have any sort of vehicle in mind. Some of the cars I have been thinking about are a TL-S, S2K or 350z(only downside are the number of seats), Z-71 Tahoe (the newer body style), 335, slightly higher mileage g37, and an 07-08 G35S 4 door, FJ cruiser.

So if anyone on here has any insight into the cars I have listed or has any other suggestions for me, they would be greatly appreciated.

Well you sure are all over the place.

How about telling us what the budget is first.

I know. I have no idea what I want. I'm totally happy with my TL right now. The only reason I'm doing this is because my sister needs the car.

And I thought I put it in the OP, budget would be around 17K or so?
Some of the cars I listed probably are in the budget or would be with higher miles. Like I said, I'm still in the preliminary stages of shopping.

If you plan on keeping it through college and at least part-way through your first real job, get whatever will last well into those years with decent maintenance costs. Spend the money more on finding a well-kept, lower mileage car than something fancy like an S2000.

Or keep your TL and let your sister find herself a car.

It's not RWD, but a used Mazda3 would be kinda nice and cheap.

If you're going through school, get something cheap so that you are as debt-free as possible.

I'm fortunate in that it will be a gift from my mom so I won't have to worry about the debt. Thank God.

Well, I'd still get something in that tier...low-maintenance...cheap to insure. And not too shabby to drive around.

And you'd show appreciation to your Mom by saving a few bucks from her very-generous gift.

Infiniti G35s aren't as modern as other cars but there are guys with well over 200k miles and very little drama in FX35s so I would imagine a G35 would do well - Coupe or Sedan. RWD, leather, 260hp ... Probably find a nice 2005 coupe or a 2006 sedan in the $17k range.

Are you happy with the TL? Look into a TL-S then.

I absolutely love my TL so the TL-S is at the top of my list. It's got everything I want except RWD. The only thing that I'm concerned about is that my 05 rattles like hell.

No way your finding an IS350 in that range. Trust me, I've been looking.

OP I would suggest to you a G35 coupe, EVO, or TL-S (not RWD tho). As much I'm not a fan of the of the G35's interior quality and such, it checks everything off of your list and offers a pretty decent driving experience. Good luck.

Not sure if a 2005 330ci is too old for you since I'm assuming a 328/335 coupe are out of your price range.

All wheel drive is fine with me. Just would like to stay away from FWD, unless I end up getting a TL-S.

I've managed to find a few higher mileage 335's, but they still want 19K for them.
I think the EVO would be slightly too sporty for my liking since I will most likely keep this car for at least through college, and maybe a few years afterwards.

I think this is the best advice.

I think a simple used car for a 16 year old is a better idea. I mean if she were ever to get into an accident, better with a cheaper car than the TL IMHO.

Civic's, Corolla's, Sentras are perfect for first time drivers.

Was gonna suggest the same thing as Sly Raskal. If your budget for a car is 17k, I'd rather keep the TL you have (since there's nothing wrong with it and its yours) and get your sister a cheap older civic/corolla type car. At 16 years old, she's not going to appreciate all the bells and whistles that your TL comes with AND she probably won't take care of it the way it deserves to be taken care of. If that's the case, I'd rather scour cars.com and autotrader for a 5 year old civic with a clean record and decent mileage and give that to her and save the money for the future. As a first time driver, I really doubt she needs all the power that the TL has to offer anyway. Just my 2 cents.

Keep the TL and let your mom buy the car for your sister.
