Stupid Question: S2000 gas cap release button???

I apologize for the stupid question, but I am car-sitting an S2000 for the week and I've driven it so much that I need to put gas in it. The problem is...for the LIFE of me, I can't remember find the release button for the gas cap cover. Can someone help me out please????

Check the bottom of the inside of the door, next to the driver's side door sill.

If not there, pop open the "glove box" between the seats. I seem to recall it being there when I sat in one at the dealership.

If you are sitting in the drivers seat its right around where your left elbow is. It is a small button the same color as the trim and hidden behind the seatbelt a little.

Thanks a million. I NEVER would've found that on my own...Talk about a hidden release button. While driving the car for the last two days, I had been trying to find that stupid button. It really IS hidden in the trim of the door. Thanks again, BEETROOT.

I had tried looking for it there....That is where the trunk release button is. Beetroot led me in the right direction of the drivers side door trim. But thanks anyways.

It puzzles everyone at first. You should've checked your manual first.

If he's car sitting, he probably doesn't have a manual... considering that there is no glove box its not very convenient to keep one in the car as I'm sure you are aware

I had to check the manual before my first trip to the gas station.

First time I drove it, it brought out a few choice words from me.
