OMFG im so stunned ..... and speechless

As some of you know AC my good friend has gone through many many cars, it all started w/ the TL , then a Dinan 5 540, x5 4.4, a6 4.2, lx 470, a8L , RS6 Chipped w/ mods, E500, and now a friggen E55.

Not just a normal E55 but a friggen RENNTECH packaged E55!!!!!! im sooo sorry but i know this thread is worthless without pics. Don't worry im gonna go visit him tuesday and snap some picstures.

So I meet him up today and he throws me his keys, I sit in the drivesr seat and immedialy am aaahwed by the interior. The seat just HUGS like no other, image the CL seat but w/ 3 times more support. The steering wheel.... I dont know what he did but he said he upgraded it cuz it felth SUPER thick, and where your 9' and 3 'oclock where your hands would be are just amazing. they actually have molds in the steering wheel so when u hold the wheel it contours to your fingers. Simply put amazing. All this before I even fired up the engine.

I adjust the seats, and move out of the parking lot. I wait for traffic to clear and make a right turn and give about 5% gas, just so I can turn. BUT what is this??? i feel the back end come loose. Mind you I still had his traction control turned on, The car felt like my 7 as far as comfort but w/ TONS of more power. A civilized beast.

Traction is once again caught and im moving forward, I slightly give it some gas and in no time I'm up to about 50mph, then a little more gas and the friggen thing is BURNING MORE RUBBER and actually almost peeling out while going about 60mph or so, the air suspention keeps the car very comfy even though its putting so much power down. I come to a parking lot then turn around and head back. it wasnt a complete stop but I did manage to give it a good chunk of gas to feel the acceleration, simply put amazing.

Afterwards we drove around and on to the highway, (he already got a v1 stealth install w/ some eurpoeon radar and laser jammer I've never heard about or seen before (wasn't escort and wasnt k40)
On the highway the acceleration was just breath taking... can't even start to desribe it.....

 

Yeah the E55 is an amazing car, but the renntech is just that much better..............

not sure, but i know the thinks the m5 looks hidious so im so he'll keep this one until the next big thing comes out.

The big question: Was the speed governor (155mph) removed??

155MPH limiter was removed and it is supposedly 187MPH, but I'll never know cuz I ain't that crazy.

The V1 install was done at the dealership. I know they istalled sensors in the front behind my grille, and in the rear right under my bumper. I don't know where the laser jamer sensors are but I hear the damn thing beeping.

There is a White TLS in my area with exhaust, body kit, wheels and some stickers on the bottom of the front fenders...ran into him once in my E500 and didnt really get to run with him although I did beat him once. I see this car more now and I tried to reel him in but he didnt bite Guess he knows what an E55 is...

Joe, if you read this tonight...I'm gonna need the Netscreen tomorrow bro, my circuit will be turned up.

Hey AC, haven't seen you around the boards in a long time. Sweet car. The E55 is such a sleeper. Debadge it and go M5/RS6.....hunting.

 

I'm jealous. I would love to get behind the wheel of that car.
