Stripes or no stripes??

I should be getting my spoiler delete plugs tomorrow and am going to use them to see if I like the car w/o a spoiler or not, but I think I will. Since I saw this picture i've been tempted by these stripes. I think they'd look great in a cream and i've got a buddy over at an interior shop that will put in alcantra cream seat inserts that i've been wanting. It'll also help bring the stripes together, what do you guys think?

I also really like that front bumper, but that's a ways away.

here is my color again

No stripes! Your goat looks beautiful as is, don't ruin it with stripes.

what color is your interior now? Cream stripes wouldn't look bad. Silver stripes may be better though.

Do the interior anyway, but forget about the stripes. I like them on the hood but not running on the trunk.

I say NAY to the stripes. They seem out of place somehow. Maybe they're too big? I don't know, but they don't quite have the same effect that they do on a Viper. It might be the width and the trunk shape.

By the way, the GTO is the classiest looking Pontiac I've ever seen. It's actually a good car unlike the rest of the lineup. If you had gotten a GSucks (as if you would!), I'd have to kick you in the head.

Honestly, I don't think they'd look that great on the car. Maybe in black, but otherwise no. I'd use the money instead to get that front bumper. I love the depth it adds to the front of the car.

if you are set on getting stripes, instead of cream, how about charcoal colored stripes? I think that would look better on a red car.

Stripes, yes.

As long as you dont buy those wheels

Just not cream. Maybe gunmetal.

As anyone if you should get stripes on any car...and people will say no. But once its done it almost always looks good.

I think the stripes on the hood accentuate the hood nicely but don't think I'd want them on the trunk. They're not your typical stripes so I bet you could get away w/ not putting them on the trunk if you did the hood. The alcantara is beautiful in a car. That'll be the hawtness.

I don't like the stripes. I wouldn't want my GTO looking like a Mustang.

Agreed, they look hot on the hood, but nasty on the trunk.

Also not sure if I'd do cream stripes on the red car, but whatever I did, it would be hood only...

The body kit and wheels on the car in the pic you posted are sick...spend your money on those instead.

Or is that a Holden Monaro.

The stripes need to go all the way down the bumper. It looks retarded on just the trunk, imo.

This is similar to the design Im considering.

Edit: All bets are off if you are remotely considering vinyl.

I just noticed theres nothing on the roof.

Hood, roof, and trunk w/ bumper.

Just the hood would look a bit....unfinished
