Strictly based on looks - Sedan v. Coupe

Can you think of a sedan that looks better than it's coupe counterpart? Remember, this is not a question of practicality, only style.

I prefer the G sedan over the coupe.

And the M3 sedan has a certain sleeper feel over the coupe, even though the CF roof on the coupe is sick.

CLS500 is better looking than any recent sedan/coupe, since it IS a coupe-styled sedan.

The Benz CL is the coupe to the S-Class though.
In fact, it's no longer being called the CL, it will be the S-coupe from now on...

Agree with the G37. Like the sedan better for some reason.

Not sure you can say the TL>CL though b/c they are different models, not the same model like a M3 coupe and sedan (for example). Yes, I understand they are very similar underneath... but the fact remains that they are different models.

Then again I've always been a fan of sporty sedans than coupes. The ONLY reason I bought the CL-S was because it was manual, if the 2nd TL-S was manual, I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

You'd be surprised to learn just how sought after and how popular the Integra sedan is compared to the coupe on the Integra boards.

I think even if they had a full coupe version it'd look weird...they'd have to shorten the length of the car to make it look good IMO... IS Sedan > IS Conv/Coupe

I would too, I was referring to the name "4 door coupe", not the styling.

I don't care how much of a spin a company put's on it, 4 doors = sedan, 2 doors = coupe.

335 coupe looks WAY better than 335 sedan...I think you guys are nuts!
G37c > G37
2G TL > 2G CL
A3 2 dr > A3 4 dr

I think it's a case by case thing.
