Yeah, no wonder that car is so expensive, but still imagine raping ferraris all day in that thing. I mean i'd rather be seen in an enzo, but for the price of an enzo these days, i'd get the GT a new e55 for a daily driver, a suburban 4x4 for the snow, and a house.

I was working out at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the F1 race this past year. Sir Jackie Stewart was given a few laps in a Ford GT and it sounded wonderful. We had our cameras down on the start finish line and I was shooting the GT from the driverside window as he accelerated from the start finish line down the front stretch; it sounded wonderful.
It looks very nice in person, not overdone, but as though all of the components flow together. I remember walking through the back security area where it was parked and people were literally climbing the fence to get a look at the GT.

the ford gt will easily compete, if not beat the ENZO in alot of different categories and characteristics, and for a fraction of the cost of an Enzo.

FORD can MAKE power N/A. The 00 cobra R was a good example. 5.4L rated at 385hp.But almost all were dynoing like 360-370RWHp. Which is more like 400+ hp. And for the record 03/04 Mach 1 Mustangs run mid/low 13's and are N/A. They do it with DOHC and low displacement relative to the large displacement & OHV LS1's.
And I know it may be unfair to bring the modified argument into the conversation, but there are 302 based Mustangs that run 10's all motor.

Ford definitly sucks ass IMO but they do have a couple of rides that I'd kill for. A 1970 Boss 429 Mustang is one of them...this is another. However I was reading an article on the new Saleen supercar...the one from Bruce Allmighty..anyways I was reading the section where they say Good,Bad yada yada yada...and in the bad section was noisey power steering pump. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !Every vehicle ford has evewr made has that damn power steering whine. ALL OF THEM and they can't even correct the problem on their most expensive supercar ever. I'm sorry but sometimes I wonder what the hell where they thinking. As far as the new GT...hot as hell and everything but it doesn't even hold a stick to the Enzo!!
