i don't see why they wouldn't
for our cars, i think there are markers for the holes a dealership makes to install our spoilers

I think what most people who don't like the wing are doing is trading the entire hood. That would make it seem like the wholes do not match up. It should be an option. Have seen one without a wing and man is it a sleeper. Looks pretty good actually

obviously no rally fans here... if you've seen what the STI can do on the rally circuits.. you'd be
What I'm saying is, all of the arguably "ugly" components on the STI have a purpose... they are not there for looks.
I personally, think they look good.

under 100 - 120, no wing serves a purpose...after that, THEN i'd agree with you
the extent of racing most of us do is drag or autox, neither of which will have a significant impact from the wing
and yes, i am a rally fan

Get a normal WRX then.
Cuz you can't handle the STi

also using your logic, no car should be able to do above like, 75 or 80 mph, because well, there's no reason you would ever go faster than that, on the streets under everyday driving conditions.

sti can go through a clutch in one drag day....because they have to launch at like 5K rpms.....if it doesnt it would lose.
so yea it will win but need a new clutch by the end of the day while the camaro can run all day and be ready the next day

I've haven't heard any clutch/tranny problem at NASIOC or Clubwrx, but there are some that literally snap the rear axle with multiple passed at the track. I myself have 0 problem with my STi, 10k miles(knock on wood)...

I dont know how many miles he had before he started to drag it but remember AWD (almost no wheel spin)with close to 300lbs of torque at 5K rpm..there is only so much a clutch can take IMO

an OEM one can't take it, an aftermarket can take that kind of abuse. I know DSM guys with over 150 drag passes and whatever they do on the street on their clutches.....and I'm talking about cars with a lot more power than a stock STi. The nice thing about clutches and you don't pay much more for the high psi rated ones. I bought my 6 puck and 12 lb aluminum flywheel for about what an OEM clutch costs from Audi.

my friend that bought the car doesnt like modding his car so when he found out his clutch was shot.....he took it to the dealer and claimed it was a defect and since the car was under his dads name his 50 + year old dad took it to the dealer
the dealer believed the dad and I think they replaced it "GOODWILL ACT" and he hasnt dragged it yet.
nice car overall love the seats
