Thanks for the PhotoShoppe job, Bdog. That looks great! I'm not sure about the drop, boys. With the magnetic ride control, Anil and I were told not to mess with it (this was from the salesman who worked with me on the Premier Edition Corvette). I'l wait to see what comes out in the months to come. But I agree-it needs a drop. I'm focusing on aesthetic mods right now. The engine and exhaust are great-just as they are.
But it's just so much fun to see people's reaction to the Corvette. At stop lights, I get people asking me to rev it. Or you see one arm sticking out the window with a smart phone in hand, taking pictures.
On the way to Anil's last night, a guy in a 370Z was working his hardest to keep up with me. At the stoplight, he rolled down his window and said, "I just keep staring at your Stingray-she's beautiful".
I'm not worried about this car not getting any attention in a year or two. I'm happy with it and that's all that matters. Besides, Anil is first in line to own this when I get tired of it........
Anil used my camera to shoot "raw" photos of the car last night. I'll try to get those uploaded ASAP. (I might need help with reducing the file size, Anil).

^^^ LOL....he was shooting at 14-16MP for a smaller file size, I bumped it all the way up and it was filling up his 2GB memory card up very very quickly LOL
the reason I said flickr is because he was uploading to photobucket which messes up the shots....but flickr doesnt....AND WE DESERVE GREAT SHOTS DATGAMMIT !!!!
maybe I should cut back on the expresso

The MRC has been around for years. I'm sure an aftermarket company has figured out a way to reduce the ride height and not mess up the MRC. My M5 had EDC and it was unaffected by a simple swap out of the springs.

This car has pushrod suspension and magnetic ride control. It will be interesting to see what the aftermarket people come up with. I'm sure it's on the way.....

we took some interior shots....I tried to capture as much as I could but pix were not upto my standards....his small 10-22 lens does a fisheye effect at 10mm, so I had to shoot at 14mm and then focusing on closer objects was being a pain....sorry but am an novice at photography

Steven, it was either in doc's thread or Rick posted a link, they already lowered the C7 ANDDDDD it retained its factory magnetic ride control system....
not sure if the aftermarket part was tied into the system OR something was done to the mounting point to lower it....

Steve,
Again, your car is great exactly the way it is and I've had vettes in the family since 1982 and my mother currently has a lowered 2005 Z06.
Since people were saying to get rid of the chrome and I'm bored at work, this is a quick chop of what dark gunmetal stock rims would look like and dark emblems. I personally am not a fan of chrome, but I do like them on your C7. Congrats!

Saw my first C7 in the wild yesterday... OMG it looks awesome!
Guys, let him at least get plates on it before the mods start.

Old men???? What "old men" are you talking about, Tyler????? I'm not old!
It wasn't chrome-it was Carbon Fiber vents (no emblems were discussed). So......if Tyler was talking about "old men", maybe he meant YOU (because old men forget stuff........LOL!

Those are my favorite parts too. Cool shots, interior looks fantastic. Definitely turned a weakness into a strength
But tell Anil to put some real pants on

Coming from someone that went only a month before lowering his car and in the past has owned suspension before buying the car, i think the ride height looks just fine.
Especially on such a beast of a car.
As for Vossens? God damn a 50,000+ car needs something better than Vossens. How much are the oem wheels from the dealer?

Park LIKE that?* sorry. Do you always take up two spots like that? I guess it matters where you live but out here parking lots get so crowded that youd get your car keyed by some jealous prick for taking a spot they could have used.

What picture are you talking about? The most recent ones are in the man's driveway!

My bad.
Not trying to talk shit, fuck Id park like that if I wasn't worried some asshole would key my car. My douchebag cousin was caught (serves him right) for keying a car that was double parked. He couldnt even drive. His mentality was just "Look at that asshole. Lets show him!"
But I guess it matters where you live. Its over crowded in this area of Cali and people get PISSED while in the safety of their own automobile.

He's probably talking about the first page where he double parked which he explained that it was only for taking his pics.

^^^ Love the 7 speed-it's a blast to drive!
And no, the double park pics are for the photog only. The angled pics were at the radio station. I was the only one there, so no one needed the other parking spots.
