Carbon Fiber Side Skirts & Splitter Update......
I got an email today that everything is supposed to ship this Friday. It's coming from Houston to Kansas City, so we should be seeing this stuff in a week or so.

Damn that vette is sexy. Ive only seen 2 of the C7's in person (not counting dealerships), and sadly one stays parked on the street near me with no cover. We've got like 4-5 feet of snow this winter too. What a pity

^^^ KK, I saw your pics of it in the other thread.....wow, I haven't seen one in the Cyber Grey yet-it looked fantastic.
Update on the Carbon Fiber pieces: They should ship out early next week. They were being clear coated, so I'm patiently awaiting their arrival.

For some reason the lower front makes me think of Batman... in a good way!

Man, this thing is coming together so nicely. Have you given any thoughts to aftermarket wheels? I think this thing would rock some Fikse wheels.

Steven, I really wish you would have gotten the CF roof instead of the color keyed roof...

You are correct....they were NOT cheap. But they look fantastic!
Thanks!
Thanks Rick-now if I could just get it out of Anil's garage.....we're supposed to have MORE snow and sleet this weekend and close to Zero Degree temps overnight Sunday thru Tuesday.
Thanks Blue, but every pic I see of a Torch Red C7 has the black wheels. I'm not a fan of black wheels. Besides, the wife LOVES these wheels. I have to say, I'm liking them too.
Thanks brother! I appreciate it.
Thanks Chief!
Just what I was going for. I could have waited for the ZO6/ZO7 aero kit to become available, but I like this better.
Thank you, my brother! If you remember, this C7 was originally ordered by someone else who walked away from it. I was lucky enough to pick it up! I've seen the Carbon Fiber roofs on Torch Red C7's. I can still order one, but honestly, they kind of break up the beautiful lines of the car........
Thank you buddy!
Thanks Bob-come on over for a ride!
Yes, this is one thing I forgot to tell you all. The car was also lowered yesterday on the OEM bolts!!!!!!!
Here's a before pic.....
And now....
Compare now! Very tastefully dropped......

Thanks Tyler.....this was done with OEM bolts. No new springs or coils. The originals can be brought down without compromising the car itself.
Little things like this made a BIG difference on the Type S AND the C7!

I'm a little over 2,000 miles now....LOL! I got the car on October 15th with 181 miles on it.

Woe that looks amazing! I love how subtle the kit and the drop is. Each mod you do is making it look more and more like an exotic, in a good way of course! Beautiful!!
I can't remember, did you order yours with the performance exhaust option? Every article I read about the C7 says it's so worth the price.

^^^ Thanks ST-yes, this C7 has all the available options that came out except for the Carbon Fiber roof. So yes, it does have Dual Mode Exhaust. You can program it to come on or off, if you want it to. But I have it set for Dual Mode full time. So you can hear that exhaust note ALL THE TIME!
By the way, it's funny you mention "exotic". When I took this to the Cars & Coffee equivalent here in KC, it was Ferrari Night at Fast Fridays. I pulled up in front of ALL the Ferraris on display that night.
You know how guys will kneel down next to Lambos and Ferraris for a photo op? Will more guys were doing that with my Stingray than with any other Ferrari on display that night. I said to myself, "heck, maybe we have his "exotic" status with this car....."
