Stared at a Civic Coupe Si and Driver stared back at me - Toronto
Just finished watching Star Trek. What an amazing movie.
I'm not a Star Trek follower / fan but wow what a great movie.
So i'm driving east bound on highway 7 (Markham, Ontario - Canada) and I'm behind Civic SI Coupe on left lane at a red light.
Right lane had less cars so I actually went into the right lane and started staring at his car.
It is a pretty sweet car I must say. No mods or anything. It was stock. I have 30% tinted windows and he didn't. He was in the car with his girl and me with mine in my 3G TL (06).
I can't tell if he saw me, as it was night but I'm sure he could still see me staring at his car cause i just stopped and started looking and then we made eye contact then I looked at his girl too cause she was looking.
Weird moment, it was like we all looked at each other which resulted in me looking at his interior centre console first. Didn't know Civic SI coupe had red interior. Quite nice. I know the TL-S has red interior but I have an 06 which was just before the MMC refresh starting in 07.
I wanted to roll down my window and comment on how he has a sweet ride but I figured that if he or his girl didn't roll down his passenger window then i'd look like an idiot. But I probably looked stupid staring anyways but oh well.
But yea.......then the green light came on and then he accelerated away.
Just wanted to share that story.
In Canada a Civic SI coupe comes to around 31-32K after tax. I'm a little surprised it is up there in price. Would have thought that it would be around the 27-28K range.
Oh well I know this is off topic but yea....
Have you guys ever looked at another car and just stared and driver caught you?
I'm not talking about the obvious cars like a lambo, or porsche or whatever...

I had an 06 Civic Si and I loved the red interior (mine had nav too). The split dash design is very unique as well as functional. Only problem I had with it was the 2-acre dash. Seriously, the longest dashboard I ever saw....
