Stanced?
Ok so the "new" in thing now is being stanced, what do you guys think about it?
Super stretched tires, on extra wide wheels that stick out half the time, whatever happened to clean, flush, and tucked?
On a civic its bad enough but I've seen a lambo, specifically Rick ross' blue lambo on white rims, mexi flush, stretched tires, with like a 2-3 inch wheel gap. My friend is partner/photographer with WD, they work with dub magazine among many others.
I've never really understood "VIP" cars with hard wood floors and tables, curtains. Aot of work goes into building a car, but person that did the work should get more props than the one who owns the car, thats assuming that the better ideas are coming from the shop and not the owner.

i dont really give a shit.
i build my car to my liking, just like everyone else.
i dont personally like the fitment look for my car. but im sure having wheels that arent hella-flush is stupid to somebody else.
live and let live...

i enjoy the stance lifestyle. i like my car looking like it's going to fall apart at the seams like a lazy sea lion. it's fun not being able to drive it anywhere for fear of running over a pebble and bending a wheel. i can only drive straight, i can't turn left or right or enter any parking lots. no exceptions. people don't like driving in my stanced car, but i tell them..."you just don't understand. this isn't a choice, it's a way of life."
i didn't choose stance. stance chose me.

I guess I'm out of the loop. What was the point of what they were doing in that video? Seeing who scrapes the worst, or who doesn't scrape? I failed to see the point and couldn't bring myself to watch the whole thing.
The poll lacks 2 necessary choices: "suspension + wheels modified for performance and not aesthetics" and "Whiskers, or
"
I'd probably vote "stock" rather than for stanced or other aesthetic-only mods.

I like the guy in the RL forum who starts asking why his RL maxed out at 120 on the way home from a meet when the TLs were doing 135 and how can he go faster. Then a week later starts asking how much he can stretch his tires because he wants an aggressive fitment.
That guy is a winner too!

I always get beef cause I'm running 2-3 finger gaps. But I just hate rubbing my front fenders and scraping up my front lip. Heck I even raised my car an inch 3 months after I bought it.

I can already visualize what can/will happen.
I came from the lowrider and ratrod scene. I have an appreciation for all things automobile. With that being said, some wheel/tire/suspension choices are just not for me. That is one that I will leave to others.
