I know what the video said, but I dont think the Viper sprayed on the vette...either way, they were both supercharged and it would begin the age old debate "N20 is cheating"...I know the vette is faster now, but I dont think there is a rematch scheduled..

If he did indeed have N20, both cars were force fed then so whats the difference....
You lose, you lose. The point is to make HP....
Anyone who thinks N20 is cheating should also think turbos and superchargers are too... I think a lot of people really don't understand N20.

Run what ya brung - if you lose b/c the other guy sprayed - then you lost, go home, quit bitching.
Spraying N2O is common with high power FI stuff, so it's not like he brought out teh secret weapon from the ricer world and owned the Vette.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong w/ N2O in a drag race, winning is winning, even if though its a Vin Diesal kind of view. But N2O is not a valid measure of the prowess of a car, N2O is simply steriods for cars, you don't replenish your steriods you lose your strength.

I see your point, but what difference does it make for this kind of race if it needs to be filled up or not? I'm sure most of us here realize that you need to fill up the tank. Both of these cars prob need race gas to run full tilt on anyway, whats another couple mins there to fill up the n2o? Most of these cars have double 20lb tanks or so too, so they don't have to be filled up every other race.

Lingenfelter Twin-Turbo Vette takes 7.6 seconds from 100-150mph
Henessey Venon 800 Twin-Turbo takes 7.9 seconds
A stock Viper does it in 12.5
A stock Vette ZO6 does it in 15.3
Comptech Supercharged NSX-T takes 18.6 (!!!)
It may seem slow, but it takes a LOT to get a car going that fast, prob take a CL a min or two lol.
