I have a RSX loaner from Gunn Acura in the mean while they fix my rotor and brake issues on my CL-S. I note some differences, could some one clarify; Why does the RSX transmission allows the driver to shift from 1 to 2nd? It seems pretty shitty that on the CL-S with all the power the 1 to 2 gear is automatically done for the driver. Whats the deal with the RSX option not being in our car.

 

It's not an option, they're differant tranny's. I have also driven
the RSX (not a type-S however), and prefer our automatic 1st-2nd shifting. YMMV
