Spilled milk over the shift gate/heater controls

Hey guys, one of my friends spilled milk all over my shift gate and heater controls on the 2nd Gen TL. I did my best to soak it up with the napkins i had in the car, but we were on the freeway so I couldn't do anything else about it. After I got to the parking lot, I got some more tissue and soaked it up, and it LOOKED ok... but I know some of it leaked under the shift gate...

So now my cars starting to smell like spoiled milk, and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on what to do? Is there a specific cleaner I can use, or should I just get some water and a towel and try my best to clean the area?

Any suggestions would be great thanks!

you will get a lot more responses to this in the tl forum- you should take your console/shifter area apart and clean everything out in there, the milk most definitely dripped down underneath the console. The console only takes about 20 minutes to take apart.

Get a professional to clean it after you get your friend to agree to foot the bill.

Yeah, but you'd be legally able to drink beer by then

Sour milk is not a kinda smell I'd want to live with...
