Whats up fellas, just had a quick question, my girlfriend lost her key and remote to her 2001 nissan pathfinder, she has a spare key but it only unlocks the door and when you try to start the car it does revs but does not turn over, is there anyway to bypass this without going to the dealer???

 

Sounds like the car needs a chipped key. What kind of spare key does she have? Is it one without a chip in it?

 

My CLS has a chipped valet key, but I also made a regular spare at walmart that will just unlock but NOT start the car.... hope this helps!
