It really isn't that bad..... except for the one in the roof, that's going to be the bitch to fix.

 

actually the ttwo in the hood mite be worst if it hit the engine.

 

It may have hit some wiring or something, but there is no way it hit the engine. In an A8 with a 4.2 the engine is nestled in the center and is moderately low in the engine bay- it probably shattered some plastic trim and maybe hit the intake(but I doubt even that). Bottom line is anything under the hood that was hit could be un-bolted and replaced. The roof.... that's another story.
