No problem I will let you know.. If anyone needs to test drive a Infiniti let me know.. The infiniti lineup is great.. When i was looking for a new job I applied to ACura and Infiniti because I think they are the 2 best products to me, And I know most about these 2 products and would have no problem selling these products cuz I stand behind them.. I worked for GM for olmost 4 years and I was sick of things falling apart on new cars during test drives or cars with 20miles on them with warped rotors... Easier to sell a car you would drive!

IMHO, the one product Infiniti needs is an MDX type vehicle to slot in between the sporty FX and and Megasized QX.

but the car looks beautiful. not a fan of the wood trim in the interior though. (well, just not a fan of wood trim in general)

and i thought this was going to be about a BMW too.

I love the QX56 there is alot of DEALER cash on them ..
I just wrote one for $60K cash + tax and mv fees and made $10K on the front and I make 23% of that!

It's a great car (particularly now that they've worked out some of the bugs in the earlier Armada/QX models) but is simply TOO DAMN BIG for our needs and probably for that of most people.

I'd suggest an Infiniti-badged GTR is needed more than an in-between SUV...

But, yeah...that got canceled.

I like it compared to the current one which has WAY too much taillight-to-paint ratio. The whole end is like one big taillight cluster. This one has a nicely rounded and proportioned butt.

When I first saw the preview pictures, I thought it looked really sexy. Now, the more pix I see, the more I say -meh-. It looks like the Maxima, and the Maxima may look better. Still, I haven't seen it in the metal, so who's to say.

Inside, Infiniti sure has a weird way with wood. First that matte stuff that looks like contact paper, and now this stuff that looks like it has silver-paint overspray on it. How hard it is to make wood look pretty?

On the positive side, the gearing and gas mileage improvement was a huge upgrade for this car. The RPM and mileage that the last car carried at a steady 75 mph were simply unforgivable in this class.

I read the Mototrend Review. Funny that the reviewer said that the V8 was unnecessary. Probably the same guy that dissed the RL because it did not have a V8 option.

This is the wrong place for this thread, however. It should be in Car Talk.

I just saw the commercial for it. Sweet ride. Wonder if this would put a fire under Acuras ass to turn it up.

I think it looks hot

I also hope with the release of the new model, the 06 and 07's will drop a little in price. Wouldn't mind getting a M45 sport.

I was really excited for its release. I went to go test drive one on Wed with my buddy who's looking to replace his current M35x. They didn't have an M56x available, so we took out the M37. The interior is slightly nicer, the transmission is a little smoother (hardly feel the shifts at all), and the suspension is very well damped. The biggest disappointment, however, is that you really couldn't feel the difference in power. Of course, this may actually be due to the smoothness of the transmission, but I really thought it'd be rather noticeable (30+ more hp than outgoing model).

With all that said, the M56 Sport is BEAUTIFUL imo.

Threads merged.

And yes, it is very sweet! It's on the short list for my wife's replacement car come early next spring.

It doesn't look bad...but it looks like a Maxima and an E-class had a baby together...

I agree.. but the RL could be considered the same.. a weird cool car.. just depends on personal taste.. like how in the RL the stack in the middle is so linear like a box.. but i love my RL but I can see both sides.. Like the TL it is an acquired taste, right... but I think > 400 hp and awd for snow would be nice .. I love all the features too, like my RL...

Well, I had the chance to stop by Flemington Infiniti to eyeball a 2011 M37X and it's truly a sexy beast in person. I can't wait to test drive it.

The wife and I were also fairly impressed that the sticker price between that and the 2010 M35X -- parked next to it -- were identical. So to Infiniti for not jacking up the price with the next generation Fuga.
