Sold the TL

... and got a QX

Car wont be driven everyday but in fact will be used as family hauler, it was either an SUV or a minivan and as much as I like the Odyssey I couldnt fathom the idea of buying a minivan .

06 with 32k miles, navi, entertainment package etc etc

I was never an SUV fan but had to give in to family needs, also looked at the new and old LX (470/570) the 470 wasnt roomy enough and the 570 is too chunky IMO .

Congrats!

Personally wouldnt want an SUV that big and would rather have gone with the Odyssey. Easier to drive for me and that means more than my image.

I do like the wheels on the QX though. 22s?

wow, you're the first 28 yr old i know with a QX56! anyways, congrats! only thing i despise in the QX and the Armada is the location of the door handles for the passenger doors, it looks odd and incomplete.

I know what you mean and trust me it was form over function that made us decide for this one, I drove a friends QX last week to haul some family from NYC and got 18.3 mpg which is NOT bad for an SUV this size heck my GS gets only 22 or so MPG if I am lucky.

My younger brother drove it back from Chicago this morning and he had a set of wheels already waiting for the truck, they are 22 AFAIK.

Meant to say function over form rather than the other way around

I'm always wary of the thought of buying used vehicles, but it looks really well taken care of. Congrats on the purchase.

Indeed, 18.3 mpg is not bad for a QX/Armada. My Murano averages about as much.

Congrats! We just got a new QX in February and our thought was much like yours...hell no to a minivan and the QX fit our needs the best compared to what else we looked at (Sequoia, Escalade, Denali, LX570, GL450).

I'm not surprised.

I am at 16~17 MPG on my 3.2 XC90. I can imagine how could it be with a 5.6 liter V8.
