Whining in reverse

Whining in reverse
Bought 2002 Accura 3.5 rl auto transmission, used in 2005, about 34,000 miles. Car has about 75,000 miles today. Well maintained. Just started to whine when in reverse gear. No other problems. Any ideas as to what is happening would be appreciated, before I take it in.
