so when gas hit over $3 a gallon this is what happens

$20,000.00 dollars for a fully loaded civic!!!!

my friend just bought a 2005. They said they can't keep them on the lot. Haggeling (sp) was hard to do.

Well, why a Civic then? You could probably make a case for the Toyata Echo, Nissan Sentra, Chevy Cobalt...lotsa choices. And probably cheaper too...

nope, my wife's friend bought it. She's 24 and doesnt do that kinda stuff. I am still waiting for my reinbursment for my services (going to the dealer with her so she didnt get fucked over).

Well, there has been talk of introducing a new car to the line-up below the Civic and moving the Civic a tad more upscale so this doesn't really surprise me. Plus, with the demise of the RSX coming soon, the Civic Si is poised to hold those buyers and keep them in the Honda family.
