Until I get the new part in?

It's two layers of cardboard to apply pressure to the window to help hold it in place. The window didn't move when I shut the door after taking the picture so, so far so good.

Part Duex

So I didn't finish drying off from the shower and rain out in the rain and moved my car out of the rain. Then I found a stash of plastic bags and took those plastic bags that the newspaper comes in and stuffed them with other plastic bags and lined the crack.

Don't know if your cousin paid to get it fixed but in the Jetta's there is an unlimited extended warranty on the windows because VW used plastic clips to hold the glass and eventually they sheer off and the window falls into the door.

This happened to my buddy in the middle of a snowstorm a few years ago so i told him to leave it at my house and I would take it apart for him. Sure enough I checked out VWvortex and found an article about it. Went to the dealer in the morning and they fixed it 3 years outside of warranty and 80,000km past it.

Nope, didn't pay a dime for it, he knew they had problematic regulators when he bought it.
