Red face So the M3 needed an oil change.....

So i had the oil change done after the track event at Autobahn Country Club.

Its been a year now with my lovely M3. Never has a car made me fall more and more in love with it with each passing day.

Who thought i would get rid of her by now?

Just had mine done and switched to synthetic after my track event.

After talking to some other people...they were saying get the oil changed BEFORE the event

I driven a GTR, its a freaking beast. If nissan builds a sedan version then ill be in trouble. Then again the GTR is getting pricey and so is the insane maintenance costs. eep.

Im lowered on H&R springs with stock shocks since i wanted to keep the EDC function. Its bouncy but not terrible. With that said, i plan to get Eibach springs soon which should work better with the stock shocks.

Yea im still pretty new to it, only did a few. Its addicting!

Funny thing is my service adviser does track events too. He told me to just use the stock brakes on the track and he will get me free replacements as many times as needed.

I have been thinking of getting rid of my m3 and getting a GT-R. The thought of coming up with another 40k makes me want to vomit though. I would like the boost in power though and I should get something the wife can drive sometimes (automated manual).
If nissan ever comes up with a decent lease deal, i'm gone. I have a meeting on the 11th with my tax accountant, i'm gonna see what my options are.

Since your now doing HPDEs in your M3, you might want to flush that transmission fluid. BMW will give you the lifetime fluid run-around, so you might as well buy pentosin FFL4, and do a drain and fill privately.

hmm....seems like a quite a few people are making this switch lately. Personally, I wouldn't make the switch. I'm way too scared of the number of failed transmission threads, on the GTR forums: http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showforum=9 Both modded, and stock failures. That DTC seems to be problematic. The only transfluid thats even taking the beating is the australian willall.
