I still live with my parents.. Yes im 20.. and im saving to buy a house for the next year.. But anyway.. on to the story..

My mother.. in her 40 years of age.. Says that she wants a "grandma car" now that my step-sister had a son-- So 3-4 months ago, we ordered her 08 535xi.. and it finally came in, so like 2 weeks ago, we traded this 04 330ci in, and last friday we got one of the first 535s in the country..

So i took some last minute pics of the old 330 and decided to post them, they might be a little fuzzy, but they werent like that until i loaded them into shutterfly, on my computer they look great..

Funny thing is, the 3 series was only on the lot 2 days before it sold already..

The 5 is AMAZING, i love it.. I will post pics after the 11th when we get the windows tinted.. It'll look sick.

y'know, I always kinda sneered at the 6 cyl 5 series engines--that is, till I bought one a month ago (530xi T). There is no perceptible difference in speed between it and my CL-S, the car is quick. I would love to get a 535xi in about 4-5 years. My wife is getting ready to buy either a 335xi Sedan or Coupe, she hasn't made up her mind yet. Either way, it'll be a lotta fun! BTW-I read the 5 is lighter than the 3 for MY08 by 20 pounds. Means the 5 shld be faster . . . . .

Slightly off topic, how much can a simple chip upgrade get on a 535 or 335? I assume it has to be fairly large, if so the 535 is a huge killer in disguise!

on the 5, I have always liked the new 5, I just thought the 550i was too heavy and the 530 was too slow.

Nope.. Im 20 and make 40k a year.. Im saving every dime i have for a down payment on a townhouse or the like..

Also a new car.. Ive narrowed it down to either a Mazda6 or a TSX, i know i know.. No comparisson, but.. The 6's are being discounted like crazy right now, and its appealing for a grand touring model..

I have faulkner and freysinger (2 mazda dealers in the area) arguing over me.

good luck with the house purchase but make sure you weigh in the differences from living at home to living on your own (w/ a house under your name) but good luck regardless. and I agree with all the others.. pics of the 535 ASAP

I realize that everone has thier own opinion, but i dont see how the wheels are ugly at all?

They look just like the wheels on some of the new 3s..

ESP compared to the god awful wheels on this website and on some of the acuras..

Doesn't matter what other wheels they look just like... they are still plain looking and quite ugly IMO. Reminds me of wheels you'd see on a Ford Taurus.
