You right, but i thought i'd never say this about a car dealership especially here in S FLA , they had been fair and upfront from the start, because it was a big sale for them, they but me with the Manager, so we could agree on what needed to be sorted out so we would move forward....the error was not caught until i was signing the final sales sheet. I could see they where been up front and not playing any games...and it was just that a mistake, huge yes but i was more dissapointed then mad... they tried to make it up, and we could not come to an agreement and i said i would sleep on it....

When it comes to mistake been made as long it is not intentional or misleading, i can be a very fair person to deal with....like i said in this case based on everything i saw it was, most likely i'll move on...... and look for another Range Rover, although this one was flawless, with full history...DVD package, upgraded sound etc....

As for in INQ on my CR, you know WILL I can take care of that VIA "B" takes about 10days or so for it to fall off. so i'm not worried there...

Damn, that sucks, I thought you finally found a vehicle. It seems you have had a lot of trouble finding the right vehicle at a fair price

They did that on my sisters Nissan Maxima. The gave her the rebate plus the special intrestrate rate, and 5,000 to much for her trade. They called her when she got home and said there had been a mistake. And they would need 5,000 to close the deal.

She said that when she left the place, the deal was cloased, and it was there loss. She said that either they could take her word for it, or maybe her lawyer could explaint it more clearly.

They backed down....

Its not so much the right vehicle at a fair price, more like the games they like to play at the dealers, although lately it has not been that bad. But thats how it is in s florida

I finally decided the Range Rover would be the smart chioce as it would keep me out of trouble on the road...2nights ago i was in a 125mph race will a Audi A6 #2am in the morning coming from Miami. I should know better...

for acknowledging that it was an honest mistake and not trying to take advantage of a dealership that wasn't trying to fock you over.

Trust me... You're almost better off not getting it... The maintenance fees and parts on this truck are horrendous! It's a nice ride but it's not cheap to run.

Depends on the year, the new 03+ RRs have a very good track record thus far......basically the 03-05 is a BMW.

In any case, BMW has never been a sign or reliability... My friend has a 2004 X5 and it spends more time at the dealer than being driven...

The X5 is built in the U.S........and dates back to 1998, its probably the least reliable BMW.

I'm on my 3rd and every one of them has been great.

My oldman has had 2, both been great and has a new one coming in Oct.

Also has an 04 RR and had been flawless.

Land Rover still had a contract with BMW in place even after the departure.

Nothing wrong with having Ford as a parent company, they have done great things with the companies they own.

The new Range Rover's use Jag V8s, nothing unreliable about them.

The Update.....

Dealer calls me back yesterday asking for a 2nd chance, also gave me some time to look at some Range Rover black book values, so i go there and within a 1hr we came to agreement, but with conditions i set because of a few concerns, which only Land Rover could settle. Also gives me time to check the RR out Fully and take it on a extended Test drive for 2days.

I have the Range Rover and i'll take pictures in a few to show you what i'm taking about and also i have to deal with Land Rover Service on a quotes needed.

More to follow later......
